Scorsese, DeNiro and Scranton… Oh my

It seems that Martin Scorsese and Robert DeNiro will be teaming up to bring the book “I Heard You Paint Houses” to life on the big screen. A lot of the filiming is said to be taking place in Scranton, PA.

This news has me excited for two reasons…

Reason #1 – Scorsese and DeNiro are the ultimate in powerhouse combos in cinema history (In my opinion).

Reason #2 – I spent most of my teenage years in and around Scranton.

The story will be set around hitman Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran, legendary mob boss Russell Bufalino, and their alleged involvement in the “disappearance” of Teamsters boss Jimmy Hoffa.
